Mwatana Organization for Human Rights has, in partnership with UNICEF, a training course on Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism for violations against children rights in Yemen.

The training course which was conducted throough May – October 2015,  in the Yemeni capital of Sana’a  aimed at enhancing abilities and skills of human rights field monitors to document the six grave violations against children during armed conflicts in 8 Yemeni provinces.

30 male and female activists have attended the course from Yemeni provinces of Aden, Al-Dhalea, Sana’a, Amanat Al-Asima’a , and Taiz .

This course came within the frame of a project Mwatana is implementing in partnership with UNICEF to contribute to protecting affected children during armed conflict though reinforcing performance of Monitoring and Reporting Mechanism and broadening the scope of Advocacy mechanism to the more affected provinces.

constitute a kick off of Mwatana’s project to monitor the six grave violations against children in 15 Yemeni provinces.
